Breathing Window.

"Studio Soufflé didn't bat an eyelid when we said we wanted to make the walls of our windows inflate and deflate. In fact they delivered the goods with flying colours, coming up with some innovative materials ideas to boot, and being incredibly generous with their time when installing"

Studio Soufflé was commissioned to realise a breathing window as part as Selfridges' 'No Noise' campaign. A series of inflation and deflation fans were used to create a breathing motion in the walls which resembled a padded cell that expanded and contracted rhythmically.
